Al Quran Al Kareem — Privacy Policy
Summary
The app does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal data. It works fully offline and does not connect to the internet.
What the app stores on your device
The following is saved only on your device, inside the app's private storage:
- your last reading position (the page, and in vertical scrolling how far down the page you were);
- bookmarks, with their category and any label you add;
- notes you write;
- your reading history: which pages you read and when, used only for the reports in My files and to mark your daily wird as done;
- your wird (daily reading plan) and, if you set one, the reminder time;
- your settings: night mode, scroll direction and language.
To protect this data from a damaged file, the app keeps a backup copy of it in the same private storage on your device. Bookmarks from version 1 of the app are imported on the device and the original copy is kept there.
We cannot see any of this information. On Android it is not backed up to the cloud and not transferred to another device: the app turns off Android backup and device-to-device transfer for its data. On iPhone and iPad, it is included in your own device backup (iCloud or computer) only if you have turned backups on; that backup belongs to your Apple account and we cannot access it. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking.
- No third-party SDKs that collect or send data. The app uses open-source libraries (for its on-device database, settings, reminders and keeping the screen on during auto-scroll) that run only on your device and send nothing.
- No internet access: the app does not have the internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere.
- No backup or transfer of app data off your device.
Permissions
- Notifications. The only permission the app asks you for, and only when you turn on the optional daily wird reminder. If you refuse, the plan still works without a reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your device only.
- Run at startup (Android only). Granted by Android without asking. It is used only to restore a scheduled wird reminder after your phone restarts.
- Control vibration (Android only). Granted by Android without asking. It is used for the short vibration when you long-press a page to bookmark it, and by the reminder notification.
The app does not use location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
Google Play
Downloading the app through Google Play is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy. Google may give developers aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install counts and crash reports.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version adds features that handle data (for example audio downloads), we will update this policy and the Play Store data-safety section before that version is released.

الخلاصة
لا يجمع التطبيق أي بيانات شخصية، ولا يحفظها على خوادمنا، ولا يشاركها ولا يبيعها. ويعمل دون اتصال بالإنترنت بالكامل.
ما يحفظه التطبيق على جهازك
تُحفظ البيانات التالية على جهازك فقط، داخل مساحة التطبيق الخاصة:
- آخر موضع قراءة (الصفحة، وفي التمرير الرأسي موضعك داخلها)؛
- الفواصل، مع تصنيفها وأي اسم تضيفه؛
- الملاحظات التي تكتبها؛
- سجل القراءة: الصفحات التي قرأتها ومتى، ويُستخدم فقط لتقارير «ملفاتي» ولاحتساب إتمام وردك اليومي؛
- خطة وردك اليومي، ووقت التذكير إن اخترته؛
- إعداداتك: الوضع الليلي واتجاه التمرير واللغة.
ولحماية هذه البيانات من تلف الملفات، يحتفظ التطبيق بنسخة احتياطية منها في مساحته الخاصة على جهازك نفسه. وتُستورد الفواصل من الإصدار الأول على الجهاز، وتبقى نسختها الأصلية عليه.
لا يمكننا الاطلاع على شيء من ذلك. وفي أندرويد لا تُنسخ هذه البيانات احتياطياً إلى السحابة ولا تُنقل إلى جهاز آخر؛ إذ يعطّل التطبيق النسخ الاحتياطي والنقل بين الأجهزة لبياناته. وفي آيفون وآيباد تُضمَّن في نسختك الاحتياطية الخاصة بجهازك (iCloud أو الحاسوب) فقط إن كنت قد فعّلتها، وهي تابعة لحساب Apple الخاص بك ولا يمكننا الوصول إليها. وتُحذف عند إزالة التطبيق أو مسح بياناته.
ما لا نفعله
- لا حسابات ولا تسجيل دخول.
- لا تحليلات ولا إعلانات ولا تتبع.
- لا مكتبات أو حِزم من أطراف ثالثة تجمع البيانات أو ترسلها. يستخدم التطبيق مكتبات مفتوحة المصدر (لقاعدة بياناته وإعداداته وتذكيراته وإبقاء الشاشة مضاءة أثناء التمرير التلقائي) تعمل على جهازك فقط ولا ترسل شيئاً.
- لا اتصال بالإنترنت: لا يملك التطبيق إذن الإنترنت، فلا يمكنه إرسال أي بيانات.
- لا نسخ احتياطي لبيانات التطبيق ولا نقل لها خارج جهازك.
الأذونات
- الإشعارات. الإذن الوحيد الذي يطلبه التطبيق منك، ولا يطلبه إلا عند تفعيل تذكير الورد اليومي الاختياري. وإن رفضته بقيت الخطة تعمل بدون تذكير. وتُجدول التذكيرات على جهازك فقط.
- التشغيل عند بدء التشغيل (أندرويد فقط). يمنحه أندرويد دون سؤال، ويُستخدم فقط لإعادة جدولة تذكير الورد بعد إعادة تشغيل الهاتف.
- التحكم في الاهتزاز (أندرويد فقط). يمنحه أندرويد دون سؤال، ويُستخدم للاهتزاز القصير عند الضغط المطوّل على صفحة لحفظ فاصل، ولإشعار التذكير.
لا يستخدم التطبيق الموقع ولا الكاميرا ولا الميكروفون ولا جهات الاتصال ولا الصور ولا الملفات.
Google Play
تنزيل التطبيق عبر Google Play تتولاه Google وفق سياسة خصوصية Google. وقد تقدّم Google للمطورين إحصاءات مجمّعة مجهولة الهوية مثل عدد مرات التثبيت وتقارير الأعطال.
الأطفال
لا يجمع التطبيق أي معلومات شخصية من أحد، بمن فيهم الأطفال.
التغييرات
إن أضاف إصدار قادم ميزات تتعامل مع البيانات (مثل تنزيل الصوتيات)، فسنحدّث هذه السياسة وقسم أمان البيانات في متجر Play قبل صدور ذلك الإصدار.
